Today, I want to share my personal experience with the Logitech G Fits earbuds. I’m truly a longtime Logitech fan, and I was excited to try out these earbuds, but they were simply not up to my expectations.
Key Takeaways
- Not Suitable for Extended Use: Logitech G Fits cause discomfort in the ear canal due to their stiff fit, leading to soreness after extended use.
- No Noise-Cancellation: They do not have noise-canceling capabilities, resulting in the wearer being able to hear their own bodily sounds.
- Good for Gaming: These earbuds have a sound profile that is more geared towards gaming and is not well-suited for speech-based content, such as podcasts or YouTube videos.
I decided to purchase these earbuds as my Airpods were broked for sometime and I thought that I could replace them with Logitech G Fits.
But this didn’t turn out to be the case.
At first, I was impressed with the unique molding process that made ‘G Fits’ fit perfectly in my ears.
But after a few hours of wearing them, I started to experience soreness and discomfort. Not only that, but the lack of noise cancelling made it impossible to ignore the sounds of my own breathing and other small noises.
I have also made a video on that:
While they may be suitable for gaming, I found the sound profile to be strange when listening to podcasts or YouTube videos. In the end, I decided to return them and the process was not as smooth as I had hoped.
If you’re considering purchasing the Logitech Gfits, I suggest buying from a local store with a good return policy.

Logitech G Fits — My Initial Impression
When I first used the G Fits earbuds, I was quite impressed with the molding process to create a custom fit.
The earbuds come with patented LIGHTFORM technology, which allows them to mold to create a custom fit for your ears in just 60 seconds.
The molding process is done via heat, where the earbuds sense your body heat by placing them in your ear canals. After a short while, they transform to fit your ears perfectly, providing excellent passive noise isolation.
The custom-fit technology was quite impressive, and I found the earbuds to be quite comfortable during the first week of use. The design was also quite impressive, and the earbuds looked quite sleek and stylish.
The sound quality was quite impressive, and I found myself enjoying music and gaming sessions more than I usually do with other earbuds.
Discomfort During Long Use
While my initial experience with the earbuds was positive, I found that they became uncomfortable after extended periods of use.
I compared the stiffness of the G Fits earbuds to other earbuds I have used in the past such as Airpods, which have a soft cushion around them, making them more comfortable for longer periods of use, as shown in the image:
The Logitech Gfits have no cushioning, making them uncomfortable to wear for extended periods.
Although the G Fits earbuds are designed to mold perfectly to the ear canal, creating a secure and snug fit, this snug fit can also cause discomfort and soreness over time.
As someone who uses earbuds frequently throughout the day, I found this a significant drawback of the Gfits earbuds.
Logitech G Fits Earbuds Sound Quality
When it comes to the sound quality of the Logitech G Fits earbuds, I have mixed feelings.
While the 10mm drivers deliver full and detailed sound with deep bass, the sound profile seems better suited for gaming than podcasts and YouTube videos.
I sometimes work from home and, therefore, need to listen to a lot of speech-based content. I found the sound profile to be quite unusual, with waves that went up and down in a way that I wasn’t used to.
While I appreciated the sound quality for gaming, it wasn’t ideal for my other audio needs. However, one aspect that can be appreciated for all audio is the punchy bass that the earbuds produce.
Overall, while the sound quality was good, it didn’t fully meet my expectations for all types of audio content.
Noise Cancelation Capability
During my time using the Logitech G Fits earbuds, I noticed something I had never experienced with any other earbuds before. I could hear myself breathing loudly, coughing, my teeth grinding, and every little movement my face made while wearing them.
This was quite annoying, as I could hear these sounds from the inside of my ear, making them impossible to ignore.
At first, I thought it might have been due to the earbuds’ lack of noise-canceling technology. However, I couldn’t be certain.
I found myself constantly aware of every sound my face made, which made it difficult to fully immerse myself in whatever I was listening to.
Although the Logitech Gfits earbuds do have some great features, the issue of hearing every sound your face makes can be a dealbreaker for some.
If you’re someone who is sensitive to hearing every little sound around you, it may be worth considering alternative earbud products that provide better noise-canceling capabilities.
Battery Life
When it comes to battery life, the Logitech Gfits earbuds held up quite well during my use. The earbuds themselves offer 7 hours of listening time on LIGHTSPEED and an additional 8 hours with the charging case.
While the battery life is decent, I have seen other earbud products with longer battery life in the market.
That being said, the battery life was not a major concern for me, as I was able to use the earbuds for an extended period of time before needing to recharge.
I appreciated the convenience of being able to charge the earbuds with the included charging case, which made it easy to keep them powered up and ready to use.
My Verdict
After a week of using the Logitech G Fits earbuds, I regret to say that they did not live up to my expectations. I’m still a big fan of Logitech and have their many products such as headsets, mouse, and more.
But these G Fits earbuds are something I returned immediately after use.
While the earbuds are designed for gaming and have a sound profile that is well-suited for that purpose, they are not ideal for speech-based content, such as podcasts or YouTube videos (which is what I needed).
But even if you don’t listen to speech-related content much, Although the custom-fit technology is quite impressive, and the sound quality is good for gaming, these features do not outweigh the discomfort caused by the stiff fit and lack of noise-canceling capabilities.
Overall, I would recommend considering alternative earbud products that provide better comfort and noise-canceling features. If you do decide to purchase the Logitech G Fits earbuds, I recommend buying them from a local store with a good return policy.
